Responsibilities
Develop and deploy robust data processing and analysis pipelines for a variety of NGS protocols and related methods.

Identify and benchmark available tools and develop new algorithms as needed for use in analysis pipelines.

Manage the release and deployment of pipelines in a shared cloud computing infrastructure.

Support a wide variety of research via data analysis, statistical analysis, and experimental design.

Qualifications
PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, or related discipline.

Familiarity with NGS tools and analysis of NGS data.

Fluency in Python, R, Perl, etc., including packages in the scientific computing stack.

Experience with high performance computing, such as Amazon Web Services, and Spark.

Familiarity with best practices in software development, including version control, unit and integration testing, documentation, and deployment.

Responsibilities

Experimental design and execution for high-throughput screens.

Develop novel chemical, physical, and enzymatic workflows to process DNA and RNA for sequencing applications.

Develop nucleic acid extraction and enrichment technology.
 

Perform high-throughput sequencing using Illumina technology.

Evaluate published and commercially available technologies.

Qualifications
Ph.D. in genomics, molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics; individuals with degrees in other related fields will also be considered if the candidate has extensive experience in molecular biology methods.

0-3 years industry experience.

Experience in a wide variety of molecular biology methods for nucleic acid analysis and manipulation, including DNA and RNA purification, amplification, labeling, hybridization, etc.

Responsibilities

Perform design, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, as required in support of current and new projects.
 

Systems development, testing, QC, and production support, etc.

Communicate with team regarding status updates.

Support architectural and development guidelines and best practices.

Fix bugs and identify areas for improvement.

Front- and back-end programming.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Sciences, Engineering, or other related fields. Individuals in other fields will also be considered if he or she demonstrates exceptional ability in systems development and programming.

More than two years of industrial experience , or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Proficient in at least one of the following, competent in another and familiar with the rest: Java, Objective-C, C++, Swift, JavaScript, etc.

Proficient in at least one of the following, competent in another and familiar with the rest: Android Development, iOS Development, React Native, Angular, SDK programming.

Able to manage enterprise software solutions to minimize downtime and maximize user experience.

Version control experience.

Excellent UI Skills.

Responsibilities

Systems UI framework development.
 

Work with the manufacture team to understand design impacts on manufacturability.
 

Rapidly produce interim deliverables (such as style guide components, technical specifications, prototypes, proofs of concept, etc.).

Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, including designers, geneticists, clinical practitioners, and others.

Excellent problem solving skills.

Propose solutions that optimize among customer needs, business constraints and technological realities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields. Individuals in other fields will also be considered if he or she demonstrates exceptional ability in hardware design and engineering.

More than two years of industrial experience , or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Demonstrated ability with application of design standards and procedures.

Demonstrated ability with electrical engineering tools.

Demonstrated knowledge of design impacts on manufacturability.

Responsibilities

Work with geneticists, medical practitioners, and engineers to identify meaningful signals from big datasets.

Independent develop machine learning algorithms to work on health-related problems.

Conduct research on efficient machine learning methods.

Participate in cutting edge research in artificial intelligence and machine learning applications.

Research and prototype techniques and algorithms for precision medicine.

Develop robust software for integrating heterogeneous clinical datasets, such as genomes, transcriptomes, proteomes, patient medical records, and clinical physiological measurements, etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Computational Biology, or other related fields. Individuals in other fields will also be considered if he or she demonstrates exceptional ability in this field.

More than two years of industrial or research experience , or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Demonstrated ability with application of existing machine learning algorithms, such as supervised and unsupervised learning methods.

Individuals with expertise in graphical models and deep learning will be preferentially considered.
